Task Overview

Your business planning should have led you through the development and testing process to product launch.

What you need to do:

  • Discuss whether you need, or could develop, a product maintenance policy, e.g. on-site service or central workshops, with in-house capacity to deliver.
  • Establish final processes for the formal reporting of essential information to manage the business: financial, production, sales, complaints, health & safety, quality control, data/statistical product control (SPC), etc.
  • Review the clinical testing activity so far and how this might serve company development, and regulatory and marketing functions.
  • Ensure that regulatory obligations are being fulfilled, as it is your responsibility to see that product clinical testing conforms to appropriate regulatory requirements.
  • Review final pricing and marketing plans as set out in the current business plan to confirm that the return on investment (RoI) predictions remains valid.
